Video for 'A Spring of Teal' finished!

We shot a video, cut it, liked it for a brief moment or two - probably because it was our first effort and we were excited - then decided it was pants. And it was (is, but it won't see the light of day)!

So we shot part of another one which was good - including the amazing sculptural look of massive wind turbines and a trio of me!

But it was only the first half of the video. So we shot the rest of it on the beach and that was good, too. The thing is we are a three piece and I was the only bod in it ... which is not good for a first 'band' video.

So we all went back to the beach on a sunny sunny day and had fun. Now we were cooking! And after a few hours editing said video was complete.

Check it out! A Spring of Teal - video

Okay, nice low budget video, eyecandy backgrounds, good pacing and editing.

And the band 'playing' in places they couldn't possibly be playing - a well established pop video trope. Think of Bryan Adams & Band 'playing' in the middle of Sherwood Forest.

Oh, plus a lead singer who looks about 15 in some shots! Angst-ridden teenager indeed.

The fast cutting right at the start, and The Three Camy's against the wind turbines looked more like parody - I wouldn't have included them.

The bluescreen and superimposition worked well - giving variety but being unobtrusive.

Thank you! Umm, there wasn't any bluescreen, and the singer's totally in awe that anyone might think he's 15. 18 possibly. ;) :P

Also, with triplets it's difficult to know how to shoot them so it doesn't come across like parody. However you direct them they won't stop talking.

Cheers for the comments! The Camys humbly thankee.
